I just thought this was way cute. All my guys cooking eggs for me one morning. Not to brag, but I have best guys around.

My parents came to visit last weekend and they brought Audrey with them. We loved having her around. She is such a cutie. As soon as she got to my house she wanted in the swimming pool. So, the kids all got wet and played. It was a fun day.

Family weekend

Some of my family came over for the weekend (my parents, Audrey, and my sister Tammy's family). It was a blast getting to see them again. On the weekend we all went to this part of Lake Coeur d'Alene that my sister Denise likes. The kids just loved it and we will definitely go there again. All and all we just had a great time visiting and catching up with family.

There was this family of ducks that kept swimming around us and Audrey just loved them. My boys on the other hand kept trying to scare them off with there monster sounds.

Carter spent all his time in the water. He was getting so cold, so I would try to bring him in but he would have non of that so we compromised and he played next to the water.

Carter loved splashing around with dad. It is hard to see it this small but he has a large grin on his face.

Aaahh sleeping beauty. This is my niece Crystal, you can see right up her nose. I thought it was funny so, world here is Crystal's nostrils under her arm pit up close and personal.

This is my nephew Garret throwing rocks at birds for a dollar a hit. And yes ladies he's single. Can you believe it?

Watery Fun

We have had a lot of warm weather lately, so playing in the water is one of the things we do quite often. Allen has a large kid swimming pool that he loves to dive in. But Carter's favorite thing is to water the lawn and, of course, himself. So here are some of our watery fun pictures.

Allen man in his cool new goggles. He has to have them on now whenever he gets even a little bit wet.

He love to just hang out in the water, jump in, swim back and forth and also under water. ( And of course, long walks on the beach and getting caught in the rain. Or so says his personal ad.)

He also finds him self needing to pee quite a lot when swimming (and no not in the pool) because he ends up drinking so much of it. It just tastes so good.

He is very serious about his lawn watering. He always inspects the nozzle to make sure it is on the right setting...

...until the hose gets the best of him. Then he is completely wet from head to toe. So after that is completed, back to the hard job of throwing all of his brother's sidewalk chalk into the pool. Which is always a lot of fun for me too.

The Twins' Birthday

So my twin nieces had there 17th birthday Wednesday. I was asked to make them a really cool cake and came up with one that I thought was fitting for them. Well, here is the cake and some of there birthday pictures.

Here is the cake. Kevin and I spent about 10 hours making and decorating this cake. It was a lot of fun but also hard work. If you can't tell it's Kaylee and Natosha on a horse behind the # 17.

This has a very funny story. Around the 8th straight hour of decorating, the icing got to warm and as I was putting on the tail, the chocolate icing slowly and pooping like dripped from the butt down onto the board in a plop. I started laughing so hard it came out just like my mother's laugh (anyone who knows her knows it's this kind of wheezing smoker laugh.) Which made me laugh even harder and I just couldn't pull it back together. Kevin had to take the icing away and put me to bed for the night. Even now, I'm dieing laughing about it.

Keylee had a great time chopping the horse to pieces. First she cut off his nose. Ewww... look at all the blood. (pretty nifty huh? I made the cake inside the horse red so it would be more realistic.)

Carter didn't think the decorations were correctly placed, so he did some redecorating. What would they have done without him?
