First Snow and Thanksgiving

Around Thanksgiving this year we got our first snow. The boys always love it when it snows. They had a really great time playing together and with dad. I, however, did not go out and play with them this time because it was my first year hosting Thanksgiving dinner. I made everything myself and when Kevin's mom came she was nice enough to help me cook it all. For how stressed out I was about it I think it turned out pretty awesome. I think everyone had a good time. However, I now think that Thanksgiving is a little overrated because I cooked and prepared for 3 days strait and in 15 minutes it was all over. Thanksgiving is really anticlimactic for the cook. Anyways with all the things I was doing on Thanksgiving I forgot to take any pictures. So I hope you enjoy the pictures from the first snow because that is all your going to get.

Always the first thing Allen has to do is make a snow angel. Carter tried to do one too this year. It is always cute seeing them laying in the snow.
Carter is all bundled up and ready to play. Most of the time Carter just likes to sit in the snow and eat it. We have to always make sure Carter is in a spot with clean snow.
Ahh and there is always a snowball fight. Carter got pretty good at it this year. He gave Allen and Dad a run for there money.

I just love this video. It shows how good Carter has gotten at snow ball fighting.

80's Birthday Cake

Here is my newest creation. I made this for my two friends, Crystal and Jamie's 30th birthday party. They wanted and 80's theme. And this is what I came up with. We have Jamie on the left and Crystal on the right all dressed up in there 80's clothing. They are sitting on a cassette tape. I think it turned out pretty good. As with all of my cakes I have made, I think I can do it better the next time.

Fall into the park

My brother Greg and his family came to visit last weekend. We all decided to go for a walk through the park downtown. My parents' exchange student Mimi had never been there before so we took our time and went through the whole thing. It turned out to be a really nice fall day. It didn't start to rain until we left. It was super nice to spend some time with all of them. I do miss them so. Well, here are some of the fun little moments we had.
Emily and Allen sitting on the trash goat. Carter wouldn't go near it because of the loud vacuum sound it made. Standing on the wall looking at ducks. Emily and Carter peeking over the bridge. Mimi going down the radio flyer wagon slide. Natalie has this super awesome camera that she let Allen take some pictures with. Allen going down the red wagon slide. Carter and Dad way up on top of the wagon. Allen is riding a large blue bug that is just randomly placed in the park. Happy baby Evan. He loves being outside. You just got to love baby smiles. Grandpa Tulett and Greg walking though the park. Carter really liked watching the water flow under the bridge. Me and my boy Carter. Checking out the water. Natalie and Allen playing on the toys. Last but not least Carter swinging.

Happy Halloween

Halloween this year seemed to be a lot. Friends of ours told us about how Deer Park was doing this "Pumpkin Lane" on Saturday. Basically all the businesses on main street in Deer Park passed out candy to the kids. It was crazy busy and it took us about 3hrs to go up one side of the street and down the other. The boys ended up with tons of candy and crashed (fell asleep) in the car on the way home. We met our friends there and had a great time walking around with them though. We were supposed to go to a party right after that. We didn't go though because Carter slept until after it started and melt down city set in for Allen. However Halloween wasn't over yet, Sunday night was still to come. We had bought some candy to hand out at the house. Since we have had children we haven't been home to hand out candy. So we thought this year would be fun to stay close to home so we could hand out some candy. Well, we didn't get one trick or treater. Also when we took the kids out trick or treating we ended up with even more then we had gotten on Saturday. And we only did 2 blocks. There was this one guy we stopped at that handed Allen and Carter each an unopened bag of candy. CRAZY! Anyways so now my house is full of candy and my kids are bouncing off the walls. I do not envy Allen kindergarten teacher today. Poor woman. Anyways the kids had a great time and loved their costumes. Evan was going to be a chilly pepper but he was to big. I loved him as the lobster though, so it turned out great. But I'm glad that it is all over now. Until next year's crazy candy holiday.

Carter and Allen in the car on the way to Deer Park. I really like this picture because it shows off Carter's beard. I think it matches his hair very well.
Carter didn't really understand what was going on at first. But he looks really cute as a lost pirate.
Kevin likes this picture because Carter is making a mean pirate face.
A knight, pirate, and their friend Buzz Lightyear all went together.
And here they are again going from store to store for their candy.
You just have to love this little pirate face.
And who wouldn't just fall in love with this handsome knight.
The whole gang together. A lion, knight, Astro Boy, Buzz Lightyear, and a pirate.
Evan our little lobster playing with his toys.
The cutest lobster ever.
Allen the knight.
A close up of the cutie.
Carter the pirate. After his shave.
Our big boys together.
The lobster was not very happy to have to go trick or treating again.
Trick or Treat!
Sleeping lobster.
Coming back with the goods.
They always dump out all of their candy when we get home and we eat there favorites first. The boys got so much candy they couldn't stop smiling. We all had a lot of fun.

Evan and Jayden

I love it when Cheryse and Jayden come over and play. I just think it's fun getting the babies together.
They don't seem to really care about each other but they love the toys.
They are both growing so fast. It's hard to tell in these pictures but Jayden is still about 2 times Evan's size.

Boys just want to have fun!

Evan has been growing up so fast. He's over 13lbs now and getting bigger every day. All of my boys get along very well. Carter and Allen love their new brother and often give him lots of kisses and hugs. It gives me so much joy to see them play together. I don't have much time today to blog but I just thought I would throw some pictures out there for all of you. None of Allen today but I'm sure you will see some of him soon.

Evan's bath time. He is about two and a half months here.
Same bath time but I just love the little smirk he has on his face here.

Carter and Evan love to play with the kick and play mat.
Evan gets to play by himself sometimes but most of the time when we get this out Carter has to get in on the fun too.

Got to love this smiling face. Evan was smiling but the camera missed it. If I had gotten both the smiles this would have been an awesome picture.
