Allen's 4th Birthday!

Our oldest boy is so big now. It seems like yesterday that Allen fit into a baseball glove and now he has his own. It has been the most amazing experience to see our boy start out as a 4lb 6oz preemie and turn into this big independent kid that loves to play, talk, learn, and do just about everything. For his birthday we had a really great time. We went to Chuck E. Cheese's and had lots of fun running around and playing all of the games. Carter even loved it too. He loved riding in the little fire truck and the helicopter, but his favorite was riding on the carousel. He would go around and stick his tongue out when he looked in the mirror. Allen loved pretty much anything that would give him tickets. He got enough tickets to get cool plush Chuck E. Cheese ball, a jumping spider and a tootsie pop. Afterwards, we picked up pizza and headed up to Denise and Jerry's for dinner, cupcakes and presents. There was decorations and everything. It was an exciting day that concluded with a little of KUNG FU PANDA! Thanks everybody for the presents and phone calls which made Allen's day so spectacular.
These are Allen's way cool baseball cup cakes.
Dad hard at work decorating Allen's cupcakes.
Are those real baseballs? I just can't tell.
Allen blowing out the flaming birthday baseball.
Does this cupcake smell like bananas?
Dad and Allen reading a card from Grandma and Grandpa Meagher.

Guess who got him the shotgun?

Allen got tons of great gifts. He loves to be spoiled.

The awesome end to his B-Day. Chillin' on the floor with his cousin Kaylee and watchin' some Kung Fu Panda. Allen loves Kung Fuuuuuuuuuuuuuuu!!!

Little Boys Baseball

Allen started a once a week baseball camp recently. He absolutely loves it. They work on hitting, fielding ground balls, correct throwing, and all that kind of stuff. They practice in the gym because there is still about a foot of snow on the ground. I think all of us in our house are ready for it to be gone. But the snow won't be gone before baseball is over so I guess it will all be inside. He has about 2 more weeks left. I'm not quite sure how he is going to take it when it is over. He just loves it so much. Anyways, here is Allen at Baseball.

Allen in his position waiting for his turn to catch the ball. Yes, I realize he looks a little flamboyant here. He'll do just about anything for a laugh. This is Allen getting ready to swing. If you couldn't tell.

These are some of the drills and stuff he has done.

The Hair Cute

So here it is the most expensive free hair cut I have ever gotten. The story starts out with a friend and I both seeing that we had free coupons to Supercuts. I was slightly accused of being high maintenance when I didn't want to get my hair cut there. So being my stubborn self I said, "fine I'll do it." Well, it was bad. Everyone who saw it said it was pretty bad. In desperation I called Cheryse and she made me an appointment with someone that she knew would be good and I got this hair cut. It is short because the layers that were put in were clumpy and uneven. I have straight bangs because I had asked the supercuts lady to give me a swooping bang and she cut is so that the side was way short and the middle was long. The only thing the rehaircutter could do was this. Its not so bad now but it was touch and go for a while.
