Aniversary

Today is our 7th wedding anniversary. Here we are back when we were first married. We look so young and thin. We had no clue what it was to be married. All we knew was how much we wanted to be with each other forever. But marriage is much more than that. It's a lot like a roller coaster. There are some really amazing ups and some of the most scary drops down. What makes the ride bearable and fun is having someone you love next to you. Going through everything with you. It always makes me gag, just a little, when people post on facebook and write on their blog that they are just sooo in love with there husband and how he is just the best! I read it and always give a little look at Kevin and say "yeah today, but yesterday she wanted to kill him." Yes, I love my husband and think he is great but sometimes... well you know. Being married isn't a fairytale, it's real life and sometimes it sucks. How you know you picked the right partner is when it sucks and you still can't even think of being with anyone else. One of the great things about our marriage is that through the ups and the downs we are always laughing. If you know my side of the family we are dependent on people thinking we are funny. And I lucked out and found someone who will laugh at my jokes and I guess he's pretty funny too. Always when everything has been said and done we want to be together and we love each other more than can be described. We can't wait to spend many many more years fighting, laughing, and everything in between. What makes everything work is that we still just want to be with each other forever. Our marriage is like a stinky cheese. It just gets sharper and better tasting as it gets older.

Welcome Blake Tulett

Here he is my cute new nephew Blake Matthew Tulett. My brother Jeff's wife Andrea had him yesterday evening. He was born weighing 6lb 8oz and 18.5 in long. His birthday will forever be known as Sept. 16, 2010. I'm sad that I don't get to go meet him in person yet, but am so glad he has arrived. In my opinion he looks just like my brother Jeff. Congrats you guys. He's a super good looking kid.

Evan's Baby Blessing

Evan was blessed on Sunday. For those who don't know, it's when a baby is blessed in church and given his name officially before God. He is also given a blessing for a good life. Evan's blessing was beautiful and I just loved having family there to hear it with me. Also a special thank you to the men who were able to stand in the blessing circle. You helped make Evan's day great. Well, here he is all dolled up in his blessing suit.

He is so smug and pleased to be getting ready for his blessing.
Being this cute is exhausting.
No more pictures!

I just love pictures of my sleeping baby especially on this special day. We love you Evan.

Silliness

There has been a whole lot of silliness going on in our house lately, so I thought I would show you some of it. First we have Allen in the bath. We heard him calling and when we came to see what was going on this is what we saw. It's just so perfect. He said he was trying to look like his Grandpa Meagher. I think he did a pretty good job. Then we have Carter in our bed. Carter hasn't been feeling well lately so every morning he has been climbing in my bed with me and not wanting to get out. I just think it's cute. Carter also likes to find things around the house that he can sit in. Today he found this box from his closet took it in the toy room and climbed into it to watch his movie. Well that is some of our silliness this week. Enjoy.

Allen with his perfect soap bubble gotee.
My sweet sleeping (but not really sleeping) Carter.
The Carter in a box. Pop, goes the Car-ter.
Carter payed more for his movie ticket. He got box seats.

Allen starts Kindergarten

Allen just started Kindergarten on Thursday September 2nd. He has only gone for two days, but he loves it to death. The morning of his first day of school he could not hold in his excitement. He ran around the house singing and bugging everyone with his crazy energy. He also asked us every 3 minutes if it was time to go yet. Then he would give us a lecture about how he didn't want to be late and we should just go now. Once we got there he looked so big walking off with his back pack it made me cry just a little. Okay, I cried a lot. I always said I would never do that when my kids went to school but it's just a big wake up call that your baby has grown up. Anyways he has done awesome and his teacher says he's really a great kid to have in class.

Hamming it up for the camera right before school.

Pose # 2
And # 3. He's born to be a model.
In the car on the way to school.

He stands in line outside before he goes into his class every morning. Allen at his desk.
His spot at the desk. It has his name and everything.
Here he is coming out of the school at the end of the day.
