Carter's 3rd Birthday!

This was the first birthday that Carter has really gotten into. For days before all of us where telling Carter is was going to be his birthday and he would go around the house singing Happy Birthday to me. He also helped me design his cake. He could hardly wait for me to get it all made. He helped with his invitations as well. (I don't have a picture of the invitations though sorry) They were monkey faces and when you pulled his tongue down the information was on it. We had a lot of fun putting them together. When it was party time Carter welcomed every person at the door with a big hug and loved that everyone was there for him. He couldn't tell me but I could tell he loved his special day and having almost everyone he loves there with him.

Carter was so interested in his birthday cake he could hardly wait for everyone to get there. Posing with his lion and assorted animals cake. Yep, here it is again in all its wild glory. Here are some of the fun crowd that came to the party. Carter was opening a present and Jamie thought this one was a real nail biter. Present from Uncle Bryan. Kevin's family's presents are always among some of the favorites. Opening the Johnson family's present. Carter and Evan really like this one. He got so many awesome gifts this year it was hard for him to choose which one to play with first. Thanks everyone who came and celebrated with us.

I really loved the Happy Birthday song this year because Carter was singing along with us. I just love it when he is using his awesome speech.

St. Patricks Day

On St. Patrick;s Day we had a lot of fun. It all started with breakfast, Daddy made some green eggs and ham and we read the book while we ate it. (Sorry we ate it all up before we thought to get a picture) Then the whole family got dressed up in our greens and drew shamrocks on our hands. Then all of us went off to do our things for the day and then had a special night of fun St. Patrick's day games and things. It was a ton of fun.

We dressed the boys in green of course and they all just looked so cute. Don't you think? All of us in the family had shamrocks drawn on our hand. I took a ton of pictures and couldn't get Evan to smile in any of them. His face just got more and more concerned. These where the best ones.

My boys

I always seem to end up with a bunch or cute random pictures of my boys. So this time I thought I would share some of them with all of you. We have so much fun at our house on a daily basis. Having a house full of rambunctious boys always makes for some crazy moments.

Allen got a Leapster for his birthday and all the boys seemed to love it. Even Daddy and Evan like to play it. I thought it was just too cute and had to get a picture. The flash is really bright on this one but I love Carter's smile. He is always making all of us laugh and smile with the super cute things he says and just like my side of the family, is always laughing at his own jokes. Here is my cute little bumkin Evan. I put him in here for just a minute while I was putting his clothes away and noticed how cute he was being. His cousin Meeghen gave him this little monkey blanket and he is always wrestling and playing with it. It's just so cute and funny. And there is the tongue that is always out lately. Evan had a stuffy nose for a week or so and it made him sound like he was panting. And as always he has his tongue out too. The boys thought it was really funny that he looked and sounded like a puppy and so they all were crawling around like dogs for the whole week.

Allen's 6th Birthday

We celebrated Allen's 6th birthday last weekend. He had his first all friends birthday. He had about 6 or so friends come and they just had a crazy blast of a time. He wanted a baseball theme (as you could have guessed). A couple of days before the party I started feeling a little funny and the day before the party it got much worse and so I called the doctor and the soonest he could get me in was the morning of Allen's party. So I fought through the pain as best I could to get everything ready the night before and spent most the the morning of the party in the doctors office. It turned out to be nothing major but I did need to take some meds for it. Once I got back though, I had to try to finish Allen's cake in a real hurry and put on a smiling face and pretend to be feeling great for all the kids to come. So, because of all that, poor Allen ended up with one of the worst cakes I have ever done and almost no pictures. So sorry Allen, I will have to make it up to him next year. But despite it all the kids all seemed to have a great time.

So these are Allen's Birthday invitations. He insisted that the runner be able to run from 3rd to home. So that made them a little time consuming to make but there they are. He also got an awesome baseball pinata. So after all the kids played a couple innings of T-ball they got to take some of there new batting skills out on this big baseball. Since I wasn't feeling very well Allen's cake was a little lame this year but here it is. I love how happy he was that I still made him one and had nothing but good things to say about it. So here is the beginning of the present opening. He loved all that he was given. Thanks everyone. And I'm sorry but that is all the pictures that I took at his party. We were just having too much fun to take pictures.

Random Evans

We have had some visitors lately. It has been a little bit of a cousinpolooza. Evan had his second cousins visit. They were born around the same time as him and it's cute to see them all together. Also that same weekend Grandma and Grandpa Meagher brought the boys' cousins Max and Meeghen. Meeghen just loved being around Evan. Everything was so busy that I didn't take any other pictures. We all had a great time. At the end of this hodge podge post we have Evan eating some of his first solid foods. Yumm. Well, I guess this is a post all about Evan. Well, enjoy.

Ava (My niece Amber's baby), Evan (My littlest man), and Jayden ( My niece Cheryse's baby). Evan was really excited by all the picture taking. However the girls were a little less enthusiastic.

And there they are again. Evan has this thing lately where he always has to have his tongue hanging out.

Evan and his cousin Meeghen. She was so excited to get to hold him and then everyone wanted too. He had to be saved shortly after this picture from the herd of children wanting to play with him.

The New Place

We moved last week to a new rental house. It's a lot bigger then our last place and we are loving it so far. The house is in a better neighborhood and isn't costing us much more then we were paying for our old house. We are still getting everything set up like we want and we haven't put things like pictures up on the wall yet. However, we are pretty settled in already. So here it is our new place.

This is the house. We're on a nice corner lot and like the neighbors so far.

We now have a nice big backyard that is fenced all the way around. We still need to set up the swing set and the trampoline but it's already more fun.

Here is the kitchen. Nothing fancy but we have room for our table and room to use it too.

This is the living room. From the front door you come up the stairs and into this room. It fits all the furniture and also has a wood burning fire place.

In the new house Evan has his own room. We all like that a lot more than him in mom and dad's room for many... many reasons.

Downstairs there is a family room and that is where the T.V. and all the fun stuff is.

This is the other side of the family room. This side has a place for all the toys. There is also a second bathroom off this room.

Also, downstairs is Allen and Carter's room. They really like having there beds next to one another instead of on top of one another. There is much more to this house but now you have the highlights and if you want to see more you will have to come and visit. I would highly suggest the visiting part.

Look Who's Helping Now

Carter has been more interested in Evan lately. Well, at least his toys. He love to get right in and help out with the baby. When I took these pictures it reminded me of when we first moved into this house and Allen was the one helping give baby Carter a bath. I just love that my boys all love to help take care of one another.
